General Maintenance Operative
Location: Macclesfield (with travel to other sites – company vehicle provided while on duty)
Salary: £30,000 + benefits
Hours: Full-time

SuperBike Factory is looking for a hands-on, self-sufficient General Maintenance Operative to help keep our estate in top shape. From minor plumbing fixes and painting to tidying up outdoor areas and general upkeep, you’ll be the person we rely on to get things sorted—quickly, safely, and to a high standard.

You’ll need your own tools, a full UK driving licence, and the confidence to crack on with the job. You won’t be micromanaged—just trusted to get stuck in and take pride in what you do.

What you’ll be doing:

• Carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repairs across our sites
• Looking after outdoor areas – from paving and weeding to general landscaping
• Responding to both scheduled and emergency tasks
• Doing basic joinery, plumbing, and decorating
• Performing regular safety checks (lighting, fire doors, emergency equipment)
• Logging work through our mobile system
• Occasionally supporting moves, contractors, or general labour tasks

What we need from you:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar maintenance or handyman role
• Confidence in general trades – plumbing, joinery, painting, basic electrics
• Full UK driving licence – essential
• Your own toolkit – drills, saws, power tools, etc.
• A self-starter mindset – you’ll often be working solo and managing your own workload
• Solid communication skills and a professional approach
• Basic IT skills (Outlook, Word, mobile apps)

SuperBike Factory started in our founder’s garage back in 2010. Fast forward almost 15 years and we’ve grown into Europe's largest used motorcycle retailer with over 3000 motorcycles in stock!

We now have 6 sites across the UK. Our head office is still in Macclesfield, but we’ve expanded to Donington Park, Bradford, Bristol, Milton Keynes and Crawley employing over 300 people along the way with plans to expand even further.
